There are various raw materials for webbing, such as polyester, nylon, nylon, blended and so on. Products made from different types of webbing materials have different physical properties.

Polyester (PET)
1. Strong and wear-resistant
2. Poor water absorption, the official moisture regain is 0.4% (20 degrees, relative humidity 65%, 100g polyester water absorption 0.4g)
3. Easy to generate static electricity, easy to pilling.
4. Shuttle is not resistant to alkali. Note: A certain depth of alkali will destroy the polyester surface at a certain temperature and make the fabric feel soft.
5. Corrosion resistance, good light resistance
6. The fabric made of polyester fiber is not easy to wrinkle, has good dimensional stability, and is easy to wash and dry quickly.

1. FDY (filament): The single fiber is parallel, smooth and uniform, divided into large light, light, semi-light, and the extinction brightness is getting weaker and weaker.
2.DTY (Bounce Yarn): Single fiber is bent, low-stretching and fluffy.
3. DTY network wire (low elastic network wire): there are periodic network points, which increase the ability to bundle between fibers (no mesh, light mesh, medium mesh, and heavy mesh, of which heavy mesh can be used as pulp-free wire).
In general, FDY and DTY must be sizing or twisted before they can be used as warp threads.
Sizing: Increase the strength of the silk thread, the cohesion between the fibers, and make the fiber surface smooth for weaving.
Twisting: Increase the strength, increase the cohesion between fibers, and make the fabric have a crepe effect.

4. POY (pre-oriented yarn): It can be stretched and cannot be rebounded. It cannot be used as warp or weft alone. It must be compounded with other yarns and can be stretched 1.6 times. POY yarn is a semi-finished product of low-elasticity network yarn. Typical fabric: washed wool .
5.ATY (air textured yarn): the surface is not smooth, there are loops, typical fabric: velvet
6. Polyester staple fiber: A plurality of short fibers are twisted along the axial direction.
7. Polyester slub yarn: filament and low elastic yarn are twisted, and the speed of the elastic bead is slow.
8. High elastic wire: high stretch and high fluffy.
9. Polyester cationic yarn: It can produce two-color effect with ordinary polyester yarn, easy to dye and bright color.
Nylon (PA) or Nylon NYLON (N)
1. The strength is very good, even exceeding the steel wire of the same fineness
2. The abrasion resistance is very good, surpassing other textile fibers, suitable for sportswear, socks, parachutes, cables.
3. Poor water absorption, regular moisture regain of 4%, easy to static, fluff, pilling.
4. Alkali and acid resistance, 37.5% hydrochloric acid can be dissolved.
5. Good corrosion resistance, poor water resistance, poor light resistance and heat resistance, and yellowing after prolonged exposure.
6. Garments made of nylon are easily deformed and wrinkled.
Spinning one form: mainly FDY, ATY.
Spandex (PU)
Properties: 500-800% elongation, low strength, sweat resistance, seawater resistance, acid resistance, good alkali resistance, can not be used as warp and weft thread alone, must be covered with other silk yarns.
The main forms of spandex covering are: empty bag and machine bag.
Sea-island composite yarn: It is a composite yarn made of sea-island yarn and high-shrinkage yarn blended and merged into a network.
High shrinkage yarn: the shrinkage rate of boiling water is 35% (so the rate of suede is very large)
Island silk: microfiber, single fiber can reach 0.138
Viscose (R) viscosefiber
1. The chemical composition is the same as that of cotton, and its performance is close to that of cotton.
2. Better hygroscopic performance than cotton, easy to dye, bright dyeing, good color fastness
3. Low wet strength, 40-60% of dry strength, elasticity in wet state, poor abrasion resistance, viscose fabric is not washable, and dimensional stability is poor.

acetatefiber
1. Official moisture regain 6%, semi-hydrophobic fiber
2. The strength is not good enough, silk-like luster, smooth hand feel,

4. Compared with viscose, acetate fiber has low strength, poor hygroscopicity, poor dyeability, hand feel, elasticity, luster, and warmth retention better than viscose fiber.
